The Package Refurbishment & Upgrades (PRU) Design Engineer is responsible for designing turbine and driven equipment system upgrades for existing fielded equipment, supporting specific customer sales orders as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
These systems include fuel, start, lube, air, compressor seal, fire and gas detection, enclosure ventilation, and other package systems supporting gas turbine and driven equipment operation.
The engineer will create or modify equipment documentation, device lists, and component source drawings.
They will collaborate with PRU Project Application Engineering, PRU Project Management, Mabank Operations, Field Personnel, and other departments to ensure all sales order deliverables meet customer requirements.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical)0-1 years of relevant experienceFluent in English, both verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of PLC softwareWorking knowledge of CAD systems (Promis-e preferred, AutoCAD, CADDS-5 as alternatives)Basic understanding of industrial control systemsPreferred Qualifications: Internship related to engineeringTechnical skills in programming Rockwell Automation PLC 5 and ControlLogix 5000 processorsStrong communication skillsTeamwork, flexibility, and organizational skills to handle multiple projectsPosting Dates: June 6, 2025 - June 13, 2025
