Experience project manager for automotive. Responsible for interface between automotive customers and all Bosch manufacturing plant departments to successfully launch new Thermal System projects for various automotive customers (e.g. General-Motors, Fiat-Chrysler,…). Manages timelines, open issues, cost tracking and internal reporting of project status & risks.
Facilitates discussions and presentations to transfer knowledge of Bosch’s Toluca Mexico development and manufacturing processes to local Bosch associates and automotive customers. Moderates cross-functional project teams and negotiates project trade-offs internally and with customer. Manages interface to internal and external customers. Coordinates regular project meetings, design and quality gate reviews. Manages new business quotation process for U.S. customers and coordinates cost development with all involved Bosch plants.
Cost tracking, risk management, decision making, management reporting are the basic competences required for this job.
# Fluent in English - capable of internal and external (customers and suppliers) negotiations.
# 4 years of experience in automotive: project management, sales, quality, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing.
# Bachelor in engineering
# Capable of solving conflicts
# Decision making and risk reporting
# Leading teams
# Flexible for traveling to the U.S. for short periods of time (2 to 4 times a year)
# Strong personality
# Able to deal with stressful situations
# Supply chain knowledge
# MS Project proficiency at a medium level
# SAP basic knowledge desired
