Description

Overview

Responsible for ensuring a successful, timely launch of Customer Projects through the various activities.
Project management
Responsibility for the process from project approval until the project’s end (“stable series production”)
Setup an initial project plan in accordance with the BU's valid processes ( PLC phases, deliverables, milestones/ Q­Gates, etc.)
Planning, monitoring and controlling the project in close coordination with the Integrated Project Team (IPT) on the base of the concerted scenarios/targets in project kickoff meeting
Track the project progress, define corrective measures if
deviating from the plan.
Perform risk assessment, control and steer the implementation of risk measures
Escalates issues according to escalation path if necessary
Protect confidentiality of project
data Project team leading
Lead the IPT and responsibility for team building and assign work packages to
project team members
Help build up a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork with the project
System and budget control
Ensure compliance to the BU's processes
Control the usage of the released
project budget and project resources per approved project plan
Report the project status in accordance
with the valid tool and process set Change Management Implement and perform professional change
management
Based on professional, well documented change management negotiate changes and
claims with the customer and with suppliers Customer / Supplier orientation
Representation of project in customer meetings Representation of project interests in supplier meetings, if required.
Actively manage stakeholder expectations, inform and involve stakeholders on a regular basis and in an
appropriate manner
Qualifications

Experience requested
Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering discipline Technical/Business Knowledge : Proven success in developing technical solutions to new or highly complex problems. Problem Solving skill : Analysis / Synthesis, Weighs the costs, benefits, risks, and chances for success, in making a decision
Project management skill : 5years expert in one of the
following: Project Management, Service Management, or Relationship Management. Demonstrated ability
to contribute to a global and/or diverse and/or complex projects. Leads projects or internal sub teams covering various internal team activities : 1 years previous project or engineering management experience. International experience : More than 3 month experience work in abroad or 36 month work with international communication.
