Position: Cloud Process Engineer - Principal

Oracle’s Cloud Operations – Supply Chain Quality and Process Control group is looking for talented manufacturing Process Engineers with expert level experience in analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing processes and analytics for Oracle Cloud’s virtual factory. As a contributing member of a globally distributed team, you will work with Oracle’s world class technology to develop, implement, and support global Cloud portfolio environment delivery. This is a unique, ground floor opportunity to apply well established, manufacturing practices in support of a cutting edge technology - Oracle's growing Cloud Services portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive the development of scalability improvements for Cloud supply chain solutions with minimal supervision. Integrate framework across organizations to achieve maximum efficiency, and reduce administrative overhead.
Design & help implement analytics to support increasing process capability across Oracle's operations.
Lead in the analysis and development of quality procedures necessary to validate the delivery solution.
Create documentation and training materials for new framework processes and procedures.
In addition to establishing & enhancing the framework, the Process Engineer is expected to take a hands-on approach, as needed to help solve operational issues, in collaboration with the cross-functional teams.
Find ways to reduce environment delivery costs while maximizing profitability
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
7+ years of experience in a high volume production environment
Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills; effectively interacts across all levels of the organization and able to influence team dynamics toward goal attainment.
Robust understanding of Lean and statistical methods and their application to product or process engineering.
Strategic thinker; able to define metrics, goals and strategies for continuous improvement
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to understand virtual cloud architectures and layered application and database services.
Solid organization and follow through skills
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Value Stream Mapping
Six Sigma Green Belt or similar.
Experience in computer hardware manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of process improvements tools and methodologies; strong quantitative, analytical and process design skills.
Experience with large scale system management and monitoring tools (e.g. Oracle Enterprise Manager, Real User Experience Insight (RUEI), ThousandEyes)
Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across global/cultural borders.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.Job
