– Guide others on key business processes for product and process change management and deployment and help to enforce compliance;– Work closely with the project sponsor and interface with stakeholders to clearly define project scope;– Work with resource managers to commitment of resources and to ensure that project remains appropriately resourced;– Use classic project management methodology to drive the team to generate a robust project plan and then to track and to drive progress to that plan;– Actively support the technical project lead to keep the team motivated and focused;– Run regular project meetings: set agenda, record meeting minutes, drive closure on action items, and identify issues;– Maintain a project website and manage project-specific documents and records; provide regular communication to management and stakeholders on project status;– Act as focal point for technical and operational issues; Interface with local and regional management to resolve conflicts and to escalate issues; and– Conduct post-mortem reviews at the conclusion of a project, communicate lessons learned, and incorporate learning into business processes and policy.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar technical field- At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment- Direct experience with a change management process- At least three (3) years of proven project management experience; hands on experience with all aspects of the project lifecycle, including project scoping, planning, resource allocation, execution, risk assessment/mitigation, and escalation- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills- Demonstrates strong communication skills (eg can adjust communication content and delivery to be informative, persuasive, or motivational)- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills (ie works well with individual contributors both within the same work group and external to work group, also comfortable directly communicating with local, upper-level management)- Demonstrates ability to generate and to maintain strong working relationships with local and remote team members (from different locations and different time-zones)- Proven experience with influencing others without relying on formal authority- Proficient in statistical process control and design of experiments- Fluent in English, verbal and written- Proficient in Microsoft Office (ie Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
