Coordinate production planning activities. This will include responsibility for profitability, inventory levels, capacity planning, on-time shipment and cost control, ensuring materials availability and production capabilities to meet the goals established. Provide administrative support for supply chain activities, working with Vendors to process orders, coordinate Bids, prepare/revise, budgets and process or other documents as required, Develop tools for purchasing control and following up activities. Could Manage MRO area and company needs. Ensure quality service from key suppliers. Develop relationships with suppliers and internal personnel in order to effectively leverage the buying power. Manage supplier negotiations and consumables cost saving.

•Develop material planning tools and processes to manage critical milestones in the supply chain.
•Coordinate the S&OP process and incorporate NPI into plant schedules.
•Manage MPS.
•Create production program.
•Create inventory levels report.
•Drive all planning operations related activities/ tasks per required monthly schedule.
•Review Import reports and material shipment following up.
•Continuously visit production area for plan verification.
•Obtain materials, components and equipment, as required by the production schedule.
•Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the development, prototype and production cycle.
•Perform maintenance on purchased material coding in Manufacturing System as necessary to comply with the inventory plan.
•Place PO’s and manages purchase-to-receipt process with vendors [Primary MRO area].
•Expedite orders as necessary. Identify actual and potential delivery problems and take proactive steps to inform appropriate personnel
•Creation and issuance of demand forecasts for long lead-time items to suppliers.
•Verify data accuracy (parts numbers, BOMs, Part Costs) in MRP; report problems to appropriate parties.
•Revise PO’s if necessary.
•Interacts with suppliers in case of delay in delivery of supplies, receipt of damaged or incorrect quantity of goods.

Experiencia y requisitos:
•B.A. in a Business or Operations related field is preferred
•Minimum 3-5 years of work-related skill, knowledge, and experience
•Good communication and organizational skills
•Excellent negotiating, analytical and communication skills, both verbal & written
