Eaton's Interconenct Technoloies Divisionis currently seeking a Molding Process Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Nogales facility.
The Molding Process Engineer is responsible for the development and innovation of new ideas, products, processes, materials and all the specific tools necessary for the molding industry in general, at an advanced engineering level. Defines and implements the functions of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, assembly, modification, design and replacement of molds, dies and tooling; ensuring compliance with product and process specifications, maximizing efficiency in the use of resources and favorably impacting operating indicators such as: Quality, Service and Cost.
Some activities related with the position will be:
- Define, develop and implement efficient molding processes
- Implementation and management of equipment installation, layout changes and improvements
- Training and validation of the activities of technical and operational personnel in the use of molding equipment
- Validation of new molds and defining process parameters
- Programming of preventive and corrective maintenance of tools and molds
- Conditioning machines or equipment designed to improve production conditions
- Plans the sequences of operations and specifies the procedures for the development of tools or equipment and other functions that affect production
- Project management
- Establish strategies / parameters for the use of team capabilities
- Process Validation for engineering changes or new products (PPAP Level 3, Use of statistical tools (Minitab)
- Plastics and Engineering Resins
- Problem solving and decision making
- Scientific Molding (Master Molder 1).

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Education level required: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering (Polymers), Tool Engineering, Related Careers.
- 5 Years of experience in a similar position
- Advanced English (reading, comprehension and conversational)
Preferred Qualifications:
- French desired
- Visa to travel to the United States
- Using statistical tools (Minitab)
- Project management
- Scientific Molding (Master Molder 1, Desirable)
- Solid Works, Mold design
