Molding Engineering Manager

Lead, Manage and Develop an Engineering team that delivers technical solutions supporting on-going Production (sustaining engineering) and new process development (product launch).

Role and Responsibilities
-Work directly with manufacturing and Quality to achieve robust, repeatable and sustainable process. Yield Rates to Standard
-Provide Process Trouble Shooting expertise to increase and continuously improve Manufacturing Uptime
-Work directly with Tooling and Set-Up personnel to achieve fast and robust tooling changes and process set ups
-Utilize fully documented ECN's, work instructions, and visual aids to codify process improvement activities
-Perform daily GEMBA Walks with manufacturing to illuminate areas for improvement
-Daily Tier 2 meeting attendance to provide processing and engineering activities updates
-An important member of the product launch team specifically dedicated to providing robust, complete and timely delivery of new program PPAP, protocols and first articles
-Provide new technology development support at the direction of the executive VP of Technology
-Engineering Bachelors Degree
-Experience working in a manufacturing environment ( rubber or plastic molding experience preferred).
-LEAN/Six-Sigma Certified
-Well versed in statistical methods and SPC
-High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
-Solid computer skills
-Strong analytical, problem solving skills
-Team player and have ability to work independently
-Excellent bilingual written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels
