Job Overview
This position will serve as the HR leader for TE Medical site located in Empalme, Sonora. Acting as the primary HR Partner for the Site Manager and Site Management team; the role requires a sound level of skill and knowledge in all HR functional areas including Staffing & Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Talent Management, Engagement, Inclusion & Diversity and HR Operations.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
• Partners with management to develop and implement HR strategies for the site that are appropriate for the business needs and consistent with Medical Business Unit and HR strategy.
• Leads site specific HR programs to ensure current and future HR requirements are met. These programs may include: recruitment; training, development; compensation; benefits; performance evaluation; organizational development; relocation; equal employment/affirmative action; HR administration; HR information systems; payroll; employee communications; employment/industrial/labor relations.
• Partners effectively with other HR functions to ensure the successful delivery of HR services required to drive the business imperatives at the site. Proactively seeks to identify and resolve issues.
• Counsels management on complex HR issues/problems and provides leadership and support in finding solutions. Serves as a facilitator/mediator to resolve complex problems, difficulties and grievances which are presented by employees. Recommends appropriate measures such as training, reassignment, transfer or out-placement. Secures professional legal support from internal or external legal counsel as required.
• Drives HR operational excellence through TEOA.
• Provides coaching and guidance to managers to ensure timely execution of HR cyclical events.
• Coaches management to develop and maintain employee relationships and create a respectful working environment for the site.
• Interprets and communicates company policies ensuring legal compliance. Assures implementation of broader policy and adherence to external regulations.
• Creates insights from data, using trend and metric information to define root cause and develop / design solutions to drive improvement.
• Uses working HR knowledge to deliver sound customer solutions, building effective relationships with internal and external customers.
• Actively participates in key projects in line with HR Solutions strategy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Minimum 10+ years of professional working experience in HR environment.
• Minimum 10+ years HR Generalist/HRBP/HR Manager related experience; breadth of HR knowledge and skills in variety of fields, preferably in international context.
• Previous managerial experience.
• Has served as an HR business partner, generalist or in other HR disciplines, which provided both vertical and horizontal exposure and experience.
• Detects internal and environmental changes and is able to use available resources in a timely, flexible, affordable and relevant manner, in order to respond to those changes effectively.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.s
