About the Role
Help us grow one of the most important regions for Uber and help candidates grow their career with us. You'll focus on building our future talent pipeline whilst ensuring we connect with the best and most diverse talent across the region. What You’ll Do
Be responsible for developing and launching our university relationship recruitment strategy across Latin America
You'll work with the best universities across Latin America and the world to help grow the Uber brand and build our future talent pipelines
You'll build relationships with key corporate functions leaders across LATAM and San Francisco to ensure we deliver on our promise to hire the best talent
Lead and inspire a team to be the best version of themselves
This position will passionately drive results, think and act quickly, operate long-term and in the best interest of company objectives.
Building teams to support our long term strategy. This position will uphold a high hiring bar continuously and drive process improvement to hire University and Corporate talent faster.
Data Driven - dig into analytics to make decisions based on said data.
Think innovatively to drive results. We are a unique company and brand and thus need equally innovative strategies to hit our hiring goals. Scalability and sustainability are key success metrics.
What You’ll Need
Experience in university recruitment will be a major advantage
Adaptable, you'll need the ability to partner with a wide variety of senior individuals including our top-level business leaders in our corporate functions
Passion for candidate experience and the overall process of finding talent
Belief in the importance of diversity for Uber and how to build the best strategies to achieve it.
Thinks BIG - you´ve never been afraid of calculated risk
Strong command of data and analytics, you've used data to drive change
Dedicated focus on developing your team
Curiosity is one of your strengths, your want to know how our business works and how to help it grow and develop
You are bilingual in either English and Spanish or Portuguese
Bonus Points If
You have experience in the university/campus space and have strong relationships with universities across the region
You have worked in technology or fast paced organisations
Are degree qualified with a major in HR or Psychology
