As the Manager of the Network Service Center (NSC) Mexico you will have overall accountability for the service delivery to Zurich's International Program (IPZ) customers for the LatAm and Caribbean region in countries where Zurich does not have own entities. The NSC Manager needs to select, manage and build solid relationships with external fronting partner , i.e., independent insurance companies which handle the local front-end services to local customers and brokers on behalf of Zurich, who are recognised by the market as professionally, financially solid and deliver to the defined performance .
The NSC Manager functions as link between Zurich's Producing Country (PC) and the local external fronting partner. The role ensures that local policies are issued and serviced (incl. claims handling) according to the Producing Countries' requirements. The role is furthermore in charge of all coordination and escalation between the various parties and ensures close liaising with the global, regional and local Commercial Insurance and IPZ functions.
Furthermore, the NSC Manager Mexico drives with the Global Head Network Management and the other NSC managers the execution of the IPZ strategy and the further development of Zurich's Global Network and its propositions.
As aManager of the Network Service Center (NSC) Mexico your main responsibilities will involve
Manages the Network Service Center Mexico and the day-to-day operations
Operational performance management and service delivery: manages the quality and efficiency of the service delivery of the region's fronting partner (policy issuance, account servicing, payments, re-insurance, claims handling etc.), ensures that appropriate workflow targets are set and followed-through, ensures that Zurich's international network operations are recognised as competitive advantage by customers and brokers and provides a platform for growth for Commercial Insurance.
Partner Relationship Management: active relationship management with existing partner companies, tracks and manages the defined performance of the partner, drives due diligence and operational fitness of partner, including potential contingency plan and selection of partner and contractual agreements, trainings and certifications
Closely interacts with and actively supports the global, regional and Mexican IPZ and Commercial Insurance functions and teams
People Management: Manages the NSC team, including coaching, training, further career development of the team, HR contingency and succession plans
Ensures appropriate and effective governance and controls are in place
Your Skills and Experience
As aManager of the Network Service Center (NSC) Mexicoyour skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Significant insurance industry experience, covering all aspects from sales & distribution (representing Zurich), to underwriting, claims, customer service and accounting / re-insurance
Strong customer service mindset paired with strong execution focus and solution oriented, proofen track-record in service delivery and operational excellence and a bility to navigate ambiguity and produce creative, cost conscious and 'well thought through' and workable solutions
Proven knowledge in operational and financial management
Strong leadership and people management skills with proven track record in leading and developing teams
Excellent relationship building skills as well as negotiating and influencing skills for interactions at all seniority levels (senior executives to staff), internal and external (clients, broker and fronting partner), strong teamplayer
Strong transformational background and change management skills
Strong and proven project management skills and knowledge of project management tools, methodology and best practice
IT savviness: good knowledge of IT solutions and digitalization
Language skills: Spanish and English required; Portuguese and French preferred
In-depth knowledge of territories assigned to the NSC (knowledge of country specific geo-politics, economics, socioeconomics) and affinity to insurance regulation, legal & compliance, and tax topics
Readiness to travel as needed
