The ideal candidate will offer personalized legal advice, document preparation, and other services in compliance with U.S. law.
As part of a subscription-based model, you will assist clients with a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, business law, employment matters, intellectual property, and more.You will play a key role in our legal team, helping to scale our services while ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining high legal standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal consultation and guidance to subscribers on issues such as business law, employment law, contract law, and intellectual property, primarily related to U.S. regulations.Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including contracts, agreements, legal letters, and policies, tailored to U.S. legal standards.Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing timely legal advice in line with their subscription package.Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal U.S. regulations that apply to the clients' needs and the company's operations.Maintain detailed client records and handle confidential information with professionalism.Collaborate with departments like customer service, marketing, and IT to enhance the client experience and the delivery of legal services.Conduct legal research on emerging U.S. laws, regulations, and trends that could impact clients and the company's service offerings.Assist in the development of new legal products and services to meet the evolving needs of the subscriber base.Monitor and update standardized legal forms and templates, ensuring their accuracy and relevance to U.S. legal requirements.Engage in periodic webinars or training sessions to educate clients on legal topics and improve their understanding of U.S. law.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school or equivalent legal degree in Mexico with substantial experience in U.S. law.Active bar license in one or more U.S. states or extensive experience in cross-border legal services involving the U.S.3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in general practice, contract law, or business law.
Experience with tech or subscription-based services is a plus.Experience providing online or remote legal services preferred.Strong knowledge of U.S. legal research databases and online legal tools.Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.Ability to manage a high volume of legal work efficiently.Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Professional EnglishBenefits:Permanent contractCompetitive full salarySuperior benefits, including major medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 30 days of Christmas bonus, and additional vacation days
