Lead Debt Structurer Mexico

Position: Lead Debt Structurer – Mexico Location: Mexico City (Hybrid) Industry: Fintech / Financial ServicesWe are looking for a technically solid and commercially driven Lead Debt Structurer to lead the origination, structuring, and monitoring of credit transactions for fintech clients in Mexico.
This is a high-impact role with strong exposure to the fintech ecosystem and structured finance markets.Key Responsibilities1.
Business Development & Deal Origination (25%)Establish and manage relationships with fintech lenders and alternative credit platformsIdentify financing opportunities aligned with our strategy and risk appetiteAct as a strategic advisor to fintech partners2.
Deal Structuring (50%)Lead the structuring and execution of debt facilities, including warehouse lines, securitizations, and asset-backed solutionsDesign cash flow waterfalls, covenant structures, and collateral packagesConduct financial modeling, portfolio analytics, and credit analysisPrepare and present investment memoranda to internal committeesNegotiate commercial terms and coordinate with legal counsel3.
Monitoring & Portfolio Management (25%)Monitor performance of structured transactions, ensuring compliance with covenants and performance thresholdsIdentify and resolve operational or financial issues with counterpartiesMaintain reporting tools and internal performance dashboardsRequirementsMinimum 7 years of experience in structured finance, capital markets, private credit, or investment bankingProven track record in the execution of debt transactionsStrong technical skills in financial modeling and structuringDeep understanding of the Mexican credit and fintech landscapeFull professional fluency in Spanish and EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience with fintech originators and non-bank lendersFamiliarity with securitization structures and warehouse facilitiesCFA, MBA, or other relevant postgraduate degreesWhat We OfferHigh level of autonomy and ownership in transaction executionCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentivesExposure to an innovative and dynamic fintech environmentA collaborative and results-oriented teamAnnual Compensation: $300,000 USD
