Job Description
The Datalogic Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for growing revenue in their geographical area. The KAM will also be responsible for understanding Key/Target accounts needs in order to offer solutions for their applications. Ensure the correct products and services are being delivered. Resolve any issues and complaints to maintain a level of integrity with our customer base. Updating forecast and CRM in regards to key metrics.
Manages territory to meet annual sales targets
Interacts with end user customers, distribution partners, systems integrators and OEM accounts to penetrate assigned accounts, prospect new accounts, build customer relationships, understands customer needs by effectively positioning Datalogic's entire product portfolio.
Develops and supports a distribution partner network to increase sales throughout the territory.
Owns the account strategy within the assigned accounts and communicates to the Business Units on an account by account basis when appropriate.
Establishes executive level relationships with the customer base and understands customer processes and business model.
Demonstrates excellent presentation skills. This person can stand in front of multi-level executives and make compelling presentations. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Overall revenue within a giving territory Update of CRM (MS Dynamics), forecast tool Understand of the DL portfolio and manufacturing industry Maintain a key relationship with our Distribution partners and sales team Align with DL culture with a sense of ownership Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a technical discipline: Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or Business/Marketing degree with at least 4 years of technical experience Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience to end users and through channel partners At least 3 years of experience in the Industrial Controls and Automation (solution selling in sensor, safety, vision systems, ID, laser marking), Mobile Computing market, Scanning or similar technology.
