The main responsibilities are:Leads to medium to large multi-resource projects to successful completion, preparing project estimates, directing and coordinating development and technical installation of information systems by defining technical design and development work to be completed. Establishes work plans for completion of assigned projects and coordinates technical work efforts across IT areas for assigned projects, ensuring solutions comply with architectural standards and established SDLC methodologies that meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Supports and develops Application Developers by providing technical advice, coaching, and mentorship
Analyzes functional requirements, identify options for meeting those requirements, and recommend a course of actions
Implements application changes that consider business functionality, optimal application performance and the current technical operating environment
Builds codes, plans and successfully performs unit and integrations testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as compliance to the business and technical requirements
Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other to support project efforts. Participate in business workshops to understand requirements, identify the integrations points and work with the required resources from other teams to create detailed system design documentation. Coordinate teams for integration testing. User Acceptance testing and also identify all resources and steps required for production cut over and go LIVE.
Identify opportunities to learn and leverage new technologies to provide better solutions to business and provide required support
Uses system traces and debugging tools for problem determination and system turning

Participates in structured technical and functional walkthroughs of specifications and programming logic with project team members
Follows procedures for change control in a manner that ensures that production systems are not adversely affected by development and test activitie
Bachelor's Degree in computer Science or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent. 1-3 years Supervisory/Leadership experience. Analytical abilities in designing Retail related systems/applications. Experience using JAVA technology. Ability to effectively work with both technical staff and business process owners
