IT Strategy & Portfolio Management Manager - PepsiCo Mexico Foods

Main Purpose

Supports and delivers within the Corresponding Operating Unit a broad range of portfolio management strategic processes that are critical to our business and help facilitate investment decisions, and guarantee successful implementation of our approved portfolio.

Key processes accountable for are the Business Capabilities Roadmap and Maturity Assessment mapping and update for our IT Strategy input, Demand management shaping working with the BRMs and the key IT areas for prioritization and execution preparation, and the Value Realization follow up.

Support the adoption of the PepsiCo Agile Model within the PepsiCo Mexico Foods (PMF) organization and portfolio.

Main responsibilities

Partner with IT PMF Leadership Team to ensure initiatives are aligned with Business and IT Strategies
Support Pepsico Agile Model agenda across the different IT Functions, by enabling identified projects and business functions with training, certification, coaching and aligning on internal capability creation approach
Facilitates development and delivery of IT portfolio strategy for the Operating Unit
Aligns program and project management resources for the portfolio demand
Collect and analyze considerable amounts of data and composing into a comprehensive format, specially reflecting the Business and IT strategy
Facilitate Strategy Planning, AOP and demand shaping sessions and trade-off discussions that consider the overall portfolio affordability and deliverability
Provides input into portfolio level dashboards and scorecards to facilitate strategic decision making
Facilitates priority, interdependency and sequencing of programs and projects within portfolio
Aggregates reporting of comprehensive sector and global portfolio work (i.e., proposed and in progress) and communicates to portfolio stakeholders to facilitate demand management, as required
Facilitates periodic portfolio reviews
Provides clarity and direction to Program and Project Managers based on project health parameters within portfolio
Shares and utilizes best practices to demand and value management processes on all programs/initiatives within its portfolio
Responsible for ensuring overall TBM Strategy is implemented and utilized properly within the Operating Unit
Responsible for ensuring overall IT Strategy is implemented and utilized properly within the Operating Unit
Work with the Global and Sector organizations on communities of practice for our SP&T process development and implementation
Experience and profile
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent / Master’s Degree a plus
8+ years IT experience in roles of increasing scope and responsibility including exposure to project/program management, testing and QA lead, IT Leadership and IT Strategy development
Broad understanding of Business and IT functions in the FMCG industry and processes along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
