CompuCom Systems, Inc. is looking for an International Contract Attorney to join its Legal Department's Supplier & Partner Legal Team and be based in CompuCom's Mexico City office.
CompuCom is a provider of managed IT and digital workspace services based in Fort Mill, SC with operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, and India.
This role will be responsible for providing advice and support on agreements and transactions with supplier and reseller partners.
The International Contract Attorney will report to CompuCom's Associate General Counsel in the US and assist with supplier transactions, prepare, negotiate and approve complex legal documents, and research and resolve legal issues involving supplier agreements and relationships. The International Contract Attorney also will also have responsibilities for contract management, including managing and maintaining and electronic document management, filing and repository function system, and other administrative matters.
Act an advisor to internal business clients relating to supplier and reseller relationships and contracts for IT services, technology and software licensing. Lead negotiations with, and represent the company in dealings and disputes with, suppliers and reseller partners.
Draft, review, redline, negotiate and approve complex contracts in connection with a wide variety of supplier and vendor engagements, including software licenses and subscriptions, reseller (both hardware and software), Software as a Service (SaaS), cloud services, managed services, professional services, subcontract labor and non-disclosure agreements.
Provide guidance to internal business units on agreements based on company policies and procedures.
Assist with process documentation. Collaborate with legal team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and the implementation thereof.
Maintain task list and monitor deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Oversee the management of the repository function of the contracts management system properly to ensure accurate and complete data (including extracting and summarizing key data points of executed contracts).

Deep understanding of legal issues associated with supplier and vendor relationships and software and IT services contracts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex legal and business documents.
Well organized with a strong sense of priority, urgency, and commitment to deadlines.
Ability to manage workload and prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills – must be able to build relationships and work collaboratively with members of the legal department and those of the supported business units.Experience with a Salesforce, DocuSign and a contract lifecycle management tool (such as Apttus, Ariba CM, or Oracle Cloud Contract Management) is preferred.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) and GSuite.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience with document retention procedures.
Educational and Other Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law required.
5+ years of experience working in the legal department of a technology company (preferably one headquartered in the United States), or a law firm supporting technology companies with U.S. clients.
Extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating software, IT, and supplier and vendor contracts in English.
Professional level spoken and written English and demonstrated ability to draft legal documents in English.
