Responsibilities of Position:
Mechanical design engineer supporting assemblies and components of Honeywell products across the Engineering organization. Responsible for the design and detail of hardware. Requires extensive interaction with manufacturing shops, tool room, thermal analysis, project engineering, design integration, materials and analysis engineering to ensure all requirements are met. Requires individual to develop design concepts, 3D models, and detail drawings for manufacturing and research.

Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5M Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is required.
• Familiar with fabrication processes, welding, brazing, machining, grinding, etc.
• Use of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Project)

Experience/Education Required/Sought:
• 3-5 years experience in aerospace products design/manufacturing,
• BS Mechanical Engineering degree
• Strong English written and oral communication skills.
