**Goals**:
- Support assembly operations by establishing production lines; with equipment, fixtures, tooling and safety standards to support the capacity and workloads.
- Work within the parameters of the QM System to help achieve general and company-specific quality efforts and growth goals.
- Supporting team that can develop customer products by guiding feasibility studies, transfer and setup of equipment, and leveraging local and company experts.
**Tasks and Responsibilities.
**
- Assist as needed with process related issues in all areas of production to achieve the highest possible quality, efficiency and repeatability.
- Create work instructions, operating procedures and machine instructions to support the above processes.
- Supervise the general quality, efficiency and soundness of the production processes and suggest the necessary corrections to the department coordinators and the engineering coordinator.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts in production areas as a continuous improvement initiative.
- Submit a report to the engineering coordinator indicating status or achievements, and project plan, as requested
- Support Quality Department with PFMEA/PPAPs/Control Plan, etc.
**Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities**
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
- 5 years of experience in final assembly or auto solder.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Experience in NPI
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Microsoft Office and SAP.
