The Import Export Agent is responsible for the administrative tasks involved with Bi-national and international freight, import/export, C-TPAT, NEEC. Analyzes outbound/inbound shipments and coordinates cost effective routing, transportation, documentation, and systematic transactions. Tracks and reconciles transportation flow to/from Mexico/USA and international customers and related facilities. Tracks and maintains all imported equipment (Anexo 31). Generates reports that monitor and measure company’s compliance performance. Provides assistance to internal customers to help facilitate import and export transactions. Ensures legal compliance and provides import/export administration support and internal control related to, government rules and regulations, including appropriate export licensing. Reviews contracts for required clauses and identifies omissions. Interfaces with internal and external customers, freight forwarders, customs officers, FDA and other functional areas. Develops compliance policies, monitors internal controls and procedures. Conducts periodic site/division internal reviews. Develops departmental budgets and tracks expenses.
Develops processes to maintain smooth and efficient control of material and products movement between the Mexico and the USA.
Assures compliance with all applicable import/export laws such as HTS classification, ITAR, NAFTA and other international requirements.
Negotiates rate agreements between national and international carriers.
Lead all customs and regulations audits
Assist logistics group in the day to day import and export operations, in order to support trade compliance initiatives and objectives.
Conducts supply chain risk assessment to support and maintain CTPAT, OEA programs.
Develop and implement customs policies, procedures and processes.
Submits the annual reconciliation to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Follow up on any customs related matter.

Minimum Acceptable:
5 years experience in the area of import and export
License in International Trade and Customs

Minimum Acceptable:
Bachelor’s Degree in Trade and customs or a relevant area of study

• BS/BA degree in business or equivalent experience
• International Trade and Customs License

Horario: Lunes a Jueves 7:00 AM A 6:00 PM y Viernes de 7:00 am a 1:00 pm.
