The group leverages this understanding of powertrain clutching technology to develop interactive control systems and strategies for all types of torque management.

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a HR Generalist at our SLP Plant in Mexico.

In this role, and under direct supervision of the HR Supervisor, the HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for the performance of generalist professional level functions.
Applies knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in two or more functional areas such as, recruitment, labor relations, organizational development and training.
Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and their dissemination.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Fill vacancies on time.
• Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract the best talent.
• Select the personnel according to the profile, coordinate technical interviews.
• Execute the welcome plan (onboarding) of new employees.
• Coordinate and execute the procedure of changes of category of unionized personnel.
• Manage the training / certification process for unionized personnel.
• Control the Head Count of his/her area in charge. Makes sure to keep the databases updated.
• Plan, coordinate and evaluate training and development plans and programs for staff.
• Support the process of Performance Evaluation in TMS.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships, at all levels.
• Plan and execute cultural, sporting and integration events for the company.
• Provide staff training.
• Act as a catalyst for change while motivating others to support change.
• Administration, Engineering Management, Industrial Relations or related career.
• 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Federal Labor Law.

This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarnerSLPSafety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and co-workers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
