You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to managers and associates, responding to inquiries quickly, completely, and professionally.Assist managers in diagnosing and resolving issues through proper questioning techniques and risk assessment.Understand and apply company policies/procedures and applicable laws to consult with managers on best practices that reduce the risk of the company, build a positive work environment for associates, and support the company's HR strategy.Main ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
You will be expected to:Coach and consult with supervisors delivering feedback in a manner that motivates associates to improve while also providing solid and clear documentation.Effectively utilize computer systems to capture issue details without effective biases (facts only); investigate prior issues and resolutions; and pull data for risk assessments and trends.Provide orientation for all new hires, manage 90 days onboarding program, and conduct exit interviews.Follow up on probatory contracts and perform terminations when needed.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must have:A Bachelor's degree in human resource discipline or related field.5+ years of Employee Relations experience or related HR experience.Excellent active listening and comprehension skills.Demonstrates customer sensitivity, including development of a consultative approach to resolve issues.Ability to remain calm and demonstrate flexibility in high-pressure situations.Strong consultative skills and ability to exercise judgment based on core policies and practices.Knowledge of Federal Employment Law and Computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about employee relations and has a strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
