Location: Altamira Tamaulipas, TAM, MX, 11520- Req ID: 82407- Facility: ALTAMIRA-206- Department: Altamira HSE- Division: Global APS**Position Summary**:Must provide operational and occasionally administrative support in activities of the HSE department, based on corporate policies, international regulations and applicable legal and statutory requirements, as well as those requirements established within the integral management system of the plant, in order to assist To establish a suitable and safe working environment.**RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:**General**Must follow up on infrastructure and equipment against emergencies to guarantee a safe and adequate work environment considering the following activities:- Carry out monthly inspections of safety equipment such as (showers, eyewash stations, hydrants, emergency exits, stairs, fire extinguishers, ladders, etc.).- Change fire extinguishers when maintenance applies.- Purging of the system vs. fire according to the established frequency- Carrying out alarm tests according to the established frequency. Purging every Tuesday (1 drawer, 1 hydrant, and the deluge system).Carry out timely monitoring of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, to ensure applicable legal compliance and improve environmental conditions considering the following activities:- Hazardous waste warehouses (fill out the manifest, verify the output of waste, fill out the log).- Special handling waste (filling of the special handling waste log, preparation of manifest, follow-up with suppliers for return of manifest).- Monitoring and updating of authorizations for the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.- Carry out a control of waste exit passes.- Manage removal of Hazardous Waste and Special Management Waste.Carry out a safety induction talks for non-resident contractors to increase the self-care awareness of non-resident contractor personnel..Carry out HSE activities and materials to increase self-care awareness of resident contractor personnel and employees considering the following activities- Ensure the availability of 5-minute talks for all staff.- Support to the HSE specialist in preparing the material to teach the Basic HSE course for all staff.Carrying out inventory and delivering personal protective equipment to plant personnel to guarantee its availability to all personnel who require it.Request Department Quotes to maintain proper functioning of the processes of the HSE department.**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:(Typical knowledge, qualifications and experience required for the job.).**Education**- Industrial or Chemical engineering.**Work Experience**- 6 months of experience in any operational position in the HSE department (may include internship).- 1 year of experience in a supervisory position in the construction branch within manufacturing plants.- 5 years of experience in a technical or engineering position within manufacturing plants.**Languages **Basic English.**Other skills**- Intermediate Computer Resources (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), legal requirements STPS and environmental, Technical knowledge ISO 14001 & 45001 Risk Analysis Techniques knowledge, manufacturing processes.**Basic Function**:Please enter job description here.**Roles & Responsibilities**:Please enter roles and responsibilities here.**Min.
