Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing Marketing, Communications and Government & Institutional Relationship (MC&GIR) with the common objective to create impactful customer experiences for key accounts/in key territories.

As Head you will lead the Marketing, Communications and GIR strategy for Global Customer Unit (GCU) Amtel and Customer Unit (CU) Mexico Central America & Caribbean.

This position reports to Head of Marketing Communications and GIR for Market Area Europe & Latinamerica (MELA) and will work in very close collaboration with the CU Mexico Centroamerica & Caribbean acting as the single point of contact for MC&GIR in the Customer Unit Leadership team.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Single point of contact for the Customer Unit
Own and drive the plan for Customer Unit and activate integrated MC&G plan
Drive MC&G agenda on Customer Unit LT (Leadership team) and drive MC&G agenda with customer and market requirements
Define the content and agenda for Customer Unit, aligned with Region for consistent messaging
Work with region to ensure alignment
Manage relationships with local external stakeholders incl. customer counterparts
Drive customer engagements tactics to create impactful customer experiences, including planning, managing, executing and following-up on global marketing campaigns, around the customer journey
Provide input on Customer Unit marketing content needs to global as the single point of contact
Measure activation success and analyse needed changes

Core competences required:

Market Insight, understanding of global market trends, understanding of the Mexican and Central America market
Strong customer orientation
Strong leadership capability/people management skills and stakeholder management
Effective presentation and communication skills
Energy and passion for marketing and technology
Understand the needs of the business and having the ability to communicate to the team and understand distinctive challenges
Successful leading change management
Strategic utilization of influencing and lobbying skills
English Skills (spoken and written)

Experience required:

+10 years of experience from marketing and/or sales
University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent training/experience
Technology background and understanding of 4G/5G and IoT market
Experience in engaging with customers at C level
Experience in executing global marketing campaigns
Experience of digital marketing and marketing software
Experience and strong focus on execution and measurable results
Resource management (including budget management)
Demand generation experience
Experience from B2B sales in IT/Telecom industries
