Position Description: Lenovo is currently seeking a Finance and Planning Sr Analyst to join our World Wide Finance Team under Lenovo’s Data Center Group. The main responsibility of the role is to collaborate with our Supply Chain Organization and Business Segments in all key financial activities including budget, Cost forecasting and actuals variance analysis. Position Responsibilities • Partner with the Supply Chain team to build transparency into, evaluate, and make recommendations on all areas affecting costs of goods sold for the Hyperscale Business Segment. Conduct ad-hoc analysis, short and long-term projections, investment strategies, cost and margin structure optimization. • Support Supply Chain teams as the primary finance lead in consultations • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial processes, including budget annual planning, compliance, and management reporting. Drive visibility into business performance and resource planning decisions. • Drive actionable analyses and recommendations for cost reduction opportunities, risks, investment prioritization, resource optimization and efficiency improvements. Inform consultations via competitive analysis and should-cost analysis. Position Requirements: Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related major from an accredited, top finance and accounting university • Experience of working with supply chains, retailers and consumer hardware. Preferred • 5 years of relevant work experience, including in finance/accounting, supply chain management or similar environment. • Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to drive complex operational initiatives. • Ability to take charge, set objectives and drive results. • Effective organization skills, detail-oriented and strategically focused. Developed business partnering skills.
