We have set an ambition to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and are committed to playing our part in achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement.**DICIPLINES**Orica accepts graduates from a range of engineering disciplines including:- Mining engineer- Chemical engineer**GRADUATE PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY**- Be eligible to work within Mexico with no sponsorship- Be in your final year of your university undergraduate degree or have completed your degree within the last year- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check, medical and drug screen- Be willing to be based in Monclova, Coahuila.- Be willing to relocate multiple times during your first two years of employment.- Seeking a rewarding career in Mining- Have a minimum average GPA of 70- Be living in Mexico and be able to attend selection stages in person if required- Open to a start date of June 2024- English conversational proficiencyWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING- Understand our business, across all key positions and level of the organization.- Will be responsible for learning about the group function support organizations, and how those disciplines impact field operations.- Participate in mentoring program.- Provide a semi-annual update on key learning and deliverables.- Engage in key company training programs (online and in person).- Take part in key leadership engagement programs, meetings, and other development options.**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**- Degreed in Mining Engineering or Mechanical Engineering- Experience in internship or business environmentWHAT WE OFFERAs part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture.
