EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
Financing is a critical component of selling SAP products and services across the various regions. The Senior Sales Specialist will be responsible for more customized deal structures, direct enterprise transactions, larger volume OEM and resellers. developing and managing quarterly sales results of the SAP Financing organization in the assigned market unit (MU). The responsibilities will include the rollout of product offerings, assisting in driving SAP Financing engagements with broader strategic offerings, aiding in the marketing and education of the program, interaction with Sales Management in the MU in order to promote and explain the program, and the management of strategic partners across the MU.
The position will also be responsible for interacting with the regional and global SAP Financing organization in order to ensure consistency of product offerings, adherence to product and compliance standards, accurate reporting of SAP Financing results in the MU, and assist with the development of SAP Financing strategy regionally. There may be some transactional volume depending upon size of MU. Role may be assigned to special projects in broader areas of finance at the request of the Regional Director SAPF and Regional CFO.
The Senior Sales Specialist focuses on Business development, developing a Financing sales strategy for the MU, identifying and developing other business needs or product offerings, alignment with the Regional team, ensuring achievement of MU Financing KPIs, funding Partner management in coordination with Regional and Global requirements, managing pipeline and opportunities, proposing and adapting regional and global campaigns and promotions, manage lead generation activities, and driving escalation when needed.
7+ years of experience in financing and/or leasing software / IT solutions
Experience in lead role of a team selling environment
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Proven track record in meeting and overachieving quota.
Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market.
Exceptional contractual and negotiation skills.
Work under pressure
Business level English: Fluent
Local language: Fluent, Business Level
Bachelor equivalent: yes
