Responsible for developing programs and processes concerning Occupational Safety and Health, Environment, Property Security, Training and Organization Development. Coordination with Supervisors, Contractors and general employees to ensure compliance with the BorgWarner World Class standards.Key roles and responsibilities
Lead on the design and development of procedures involving BW staff to reduce incidents, accidents, injuries and occupational illnesses.Promotes awareness of Health and Safety in the Organization through communication and training of employees.Applies the Training Need Analysis of Employees to strengthen Safety, Health and Environment topics.Develop, coordinate and execute training programs on Safety, Hygiene, Emergency Response, Legal requirements, hazardous materials and related topics.Ensure that programs meet or exceed the legal requirements of STPS and SEMARNAT through training, auditing and implementation of corrective actions to promote continuous improvement.Auditor Leader of ISO 14001 and GSSF (Global Star Safety Framework).Team Leader in inspections, risk analysis, ergonomics, minimization of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, Environmental Management System ISO 14001 and Global Star Safety Framework (GSSF) and raise a high degree of involvement of employees.Provides support to GSSF and ISO 14001´s champions and leads the multifunctional team in the investigation of incidents, accidents and occupational illnesses, including root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions.Lead, provide and ensure the compliance Policy of the facility in terms of Safety, Health and Environment.STOP production when it represents a risk for employee´s the safety, health and/or environmental.Create an empowerment culture to all BW employee to STOP an operation, when it represents a risk of Safety, Health and/or Environment issue.Responsible for the compliance of the CTPAT guidelines in operational control for incoming and output of employees, visitors, suppliers and contractors, materials and equipment.Budget management.Resources Management (human, financial, material, equipment, tools and other inputs) necessary for the implementation and operation of the Environment, Safety and Security Systems.Ensure new projects, their execution and startup comply with the requirements and policies in matters of Safety, Health and Environment (MOC).Observe and ensure all personnel, contractors (when applicable) and he / she, knows and observes the safety, health and environmental measures applied in the area where the work is performed.Provides technical information to all operational and administrative areas of Safety, Health and Environment issues.Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees in all levels.Incorporate into daily work tools and principles of standardization, 5S's, TPM, poka-yokes and continuous improvement.Representative (Champion) in charge of the elements of Global Star Safety Framework - GSSF: 10.0 Eliminating Hazards and Reducing Risks, 11.0 Chemical and Physical Agent Management, 16.0 Monitoring and Analysis, 18.0 Management Review; Facilitator of the elements: 3.0 Consultation and participation, 6.0 Legal and other requirements, 7.0 OH&S Objectives, 8.0. Competence and communication, 9.0 Document control, 14.0 Emergency Preparedness and Response.Responsible for Internal communication on issues of environment, security, safety and occupational health.Job requirements and qualifications
Engineering completed in the areas of Environmental, Industrial or related.5- 7 years of experience in related processes.Interpretation of Laws, Regulations, Norms, Resolutions and / or Agreements on Safety, Health and Environment.Internal Instructor in Management Systems ISO 14001 and / or OHSAS 18001 -ISO 45001Proficiency English.Budget management.Global Star Safety Framework (GSSF)Identification and Control RisksTrainer Safety, Health and EnvironmentCore competencies
