And when they’re ready to take on a new career path, we’re right there with them, giving them the guidance and momentum into the best future they envision.Because we believe that the best way to back our customers is to back our people.The powerful backing of American Express.Don’t make a difference without it.Don’t live life without it.Job DescriptionThe position is responsible for managing all Global Security activities in Mexico including Investigations, Security Services, Crisis Management and Executive Protection.Must be able to work with minimal supervision while keeping the Regional VP apprised of situations that occur.Contribute to the reduction and control of fraud lossses by assigning and directing fraud investigations; may personally conduct sensitive investigations as needed.Manage and maintain effective working relationships at the highest level with various business leaders and law enforcement.Provide leadership to a team of security professionals with emphasis on overcoming obstacles and achieving goals in a team based environment.Develop process improvements and implement where possible.Provide advice and assistance on security-related matters to senior business leaders to ensure the safety and security of employees, contractors,vendors and visitors.Efficiently handle all emergencies, crises and stressful situations calmly, quickly and professionally.Review and manage facility projects related to all facets of security.Manage and maintain relationships with authorized vendors that provide vital services to operations.Plan and monitor budget expenses.Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Security or related field.
Candidates must have 10+ years of combined experience in law enforcement, corporate security management and people leadership.
Fluency in English language.
Excellent computer skills
Demonstated experience in managing and leading a team of employees and contractors.
Thorough knowledge and highly developed understanding of Investigations, Security Services, Crisis Management and Executive Protection.
Strong organization, leadership, time management, communication and analytical skills to effectively direct security operations.
Must be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong team building and leadership skills required.
On call 24/7/365 and must be able to travel within area of responsibility.
