Requirements:Young startup looking for ambitious and highly motivated Digital Media Specialist to join our team. You will lead our marketing efforts using new media and digital tools. Flamingo is a USA-based community engagement solution providing fitness programming, concierge services and technology to large apartment and commercial buildings.

Who we are

Flamingo is an all-in-one community engagement solution. For residents in apartment buildings, this means an app with their building name and logo that they can use for everything from rent payment to booking maids. For property managers, this means a website where they can instantly book social events for their residents like chefs to cater or do cooking classes or fitness instructors to teach onsite fitness classes.

Your Role:

You'll help build our brand by creating high-quality original written and visual content. If you?re a tech-savvy professional with interest in the latest trends in digital technologies, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you should strengthen our online presence and increase our brand awareness through effective social media strategies and campaigns.

In order for our company to win in the market, we have to act like we are a media company. This means creating an insane amount of content to engage various audiences including property managers and residents. We focus our content around telling stories, sharing our customer's success, and celebrating their wins.

Our ideal candidate should have:

The ability to implement successful marketing practices.
Proven work experience as a Digital Media Specialist/Manager, Social Media Specialist/Manager, or other relevant content creation/marketing experience.
Experiences with social media management tools, like Buffer and Hootsuite
In-depth understanding of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
Deep understanding of how different social networks operate and be familiar with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for online content
Ability to identify target audience preferences and trends
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Native fluency in written and spoken English.
Hands-on experience with social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns
An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
Experience with visual communication principles
Experience working with and developing a marketing plan.
BSc degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field preferred
Understanding of graphic design principles and familiarity with content creation tools like Canva, Photoshop etcResponsibilities:Manage, create and publish original, high-quality content - written, video, graphic
Research, write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
Blogging - research, write, edit and publish engaging long and short form blog posts that will be interesting to property managers and real estate professionals.
Podcast: Research, connect with, and schedule real estate leaders that the company CEO will have as guests on the CEO's weekly Resident Experience Podcast. Then review, edit, publish podcasts.
Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency
Manage all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)
Update our social media pages with compelling company news, customer success stories, user feedback and more
Select appealing images and videos to complement the text
Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience?s behaviors
Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates) weekly and monthly
Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Train internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy and content creation best practices.
Research how emerging social networks and features can benefit our company
Analyze user engagement (e.g. click-through and bounce rates)
Research and monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
Respond to comments on social media

Salary: $12,480 per year
Perks: 2 weeks paid vacation; paid personal days and holidays
