Design Engineer (Aeroestructuras)

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Design Engineer to join the Structures Engineering organization as part of a product development team, to design components and systems for aircraft nacelles.
You will perform detail and assembly design and create drawings and model-based definition using CATIA V5 and Enovia.
You will release engineering models and drawings through the internal PLM system.
You will also support the resolution of design problems, producibility improvements and engineering changes.
In addition, you will collaborate in continuous improvement activities and interact with global teams.
Position will work in a Hybrid capacity at our Mexicali facility.
Travel up to 10% as required when circumstances permit.
Perform other duties as required.

Experiência y requisitos

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Mechanic, Aerospace, Mechatronic or related 1-4 years of product design experience Design experience in Engine Build Up, Thrust-Reverser, Fan Cowl or Inlet components highly desired Ability to create models for aircraft components using CATIA V5 Proficiency with Enovia and Teamcenter or similar PLM systems Basic knowledge of GD&T Good communication and presentation skills to collaborate with global teams English (Advanced)
