Data Scientist / Analyst

Scope of Responsibilities Design, develop, and program methods and systems to consolidate and analyze structured, unstructured, and diverse data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions. Interacts within and outside the organization to identify questions and issues for data analytics. Develop and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate datasets from multiple sources. Identify meaningful insights from various data sources and interpret insights and findings from analysis and experiments to business partners and managers. Develop visualizations to enhance review and assessment of new product and business process health. Enable quick decision-making and business process improvement opportunities through provision of clear and easily understood reports, visuals, and dashboards. Explain complex technical information to management and non-technical teams through the use of data visualization tools such as Power BI. Knowledge / Skills Requirements Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, statistics, mathematics, or related field. Experience in the field of data modeling, data science, machine learning or similar. Excellent communication skills, oral and written English proficiency, and ability to collaborate with a global team. Critical thinking skills and ability to comprehend linkages between business process and data solutions. Technical and software competency. Attention to detail is a must. Proactive and supportive self-starter, helping teams and colleagues before being asked, making issues known before they become critical. Capable of delivering multiple competing priorities with little supervision. Comfortable working in an international environment. Good working knowledge in at least some or all of the following Java, VB, .Net, R, Python. Web development or Flask is a plus. Applied knowledge in any DBMS and language is a must, such as SQL, Oracle, mySQL, etc. Interest in following processes and documentation creation. Experience with Power BI or equivalent to create impactful reports, visualizations, and dashboards. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point required. Minimum 5 years experience delivering business intelligence solutions. Semiconductor, new product introduction, and manufacturing process knowledge preferred.
