The CyberSecurity expert in the Business Security team is responsible for supporting Cyber Security services and providing security consultation to the Global Business Units. They will proactively work with the business and the ITS teams to ensure technical implementations align with best practices, Sanofi Cyber Security policy, company strategy while ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
The Cyber Security expert provides oversight and coordination on Cyber Security initiatives such as; investigations, risk management, risk assessments, technical assessments, security consultation for Global Business Units, etc. This role is responsible for strategic planning, ensuring effective and timely support to key stakeholders. In addition to the above, this role is responsible for identifying and communicating key KPIs as well as general security communications.
This position is responsible for contributing to the development and to supporting the enterprise-wide Cyber Security program to ensure that information assets are protected. This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating and reporting on Cyber Security risks to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
Perform risk assessments of the information assets of the Global Business Units and recommend controls with respect to the value vs. threat vs. vulnerability vs. costs.
Coordinate efforts with the business in the Global Business Units to review projects, applications and architectures to ensure security controls exist. Provides guidance and expertise on technical solutions and standards to protect Sanofi data systems.
Contributes to a clear, measurable strategy that is aligned with Sanofi’s business strategy in the areas of Cyber Security and enabling the business.
Support Information Security awareness and training initiatives to educate employees about information risks related to Highly Sensitive Projects
Develops and supports security services to provide the business with the tools to ensure the protection of their data.
Maintains a high level of expertise on current issues/threats to data systems and trends/techniques to reduce potential risk to company data assets. This includes staying abreast of security best practices and technologies.
Responsible for the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Sanofi data. Manages risk to data and information systems.
Responsible for Cyber security elements related to Mergers, Divestures and Acquisitions
Contributes to the Investigation services to ensure that they are documented and remediated in a timely basis.
Provides effective and efficient communications to assigned business units

Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Life Sciences, Management or equivalent required
MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
10+ years in an Information Systems experience including project management, project planning, systems development, technical services in a large services-oriented organization
5+ years in Cyber Security, including experience in systems security management or technical and forensic investigations preferred
Pharmaceutical, Health Care industry strongly preferred
Certification: Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) desired. If not certified, must possess knowledge to pursue and pass exams
Possess excellent technical skills including technical writing
Ability to work in team environment
Ability to influence wide range of stakeholders to achieve project objectives
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in multi-disciplined team environment, communicates and negotiates with customers, employees and management at all levels
Must possess strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Must be able to prioritize and effectively apply resources to ensure achievement of objectives
