The overall purpose of this role is to support Peñasquito’s CONTRACTOR Clients in the delivery of their work in a safe, timely and cost efficient manner to guarantee that these facilities and projects are in place to support uninterrupted mining operations at Minera Peñasquito.Responsabilities:Demonstrates leadership and direct involvement with Goldcorp Minera Peñasquito Safety policies, management plans and procedures.
Ensures that all required support for the Penasquito CONTRACTOR Clients are coordinated with CONTRACTOR and CONTRACTOR that all CONTRACTOR trucks (haul and water trucks) are mechanically fit and maintained to safely perform the tasks required by the Peñasquito CONTRACTOR Clients. The Penasquito CONTRACTOR Clients will direct CONTRACTOR in their work but this position will ensure all support by CONTRACTOR is to Penasquito specifications and standards.
Coordinates the development of controls needed to provide accurate and up-to-date scheduling, coordination, cost and other information for all activities performed by CONTRACTOR.
Develops and supervises maintenance of field cost control system for the CONTRACTOR operations.
Advises and coordinates environmental and community relation matters as required.
Role would require the management of the maintenance of the Contractor haul and water trucks and ensure Contractor complies with the maintenance requirements to Penasquito specifications and standards.
Coordinates with Minera Peñasquito safety and security teams and groups to ensure CONTRACTOR is operating to our objective of “Zero Harm”.
Coordinates with all Minera Peñasquito Clients to ensure minimal impacts to ongoing operations during construction of projects.
Oversee, examine, and drive accountability and authority for all employees and contractors with respect to safety, environmental performance, and the company’s social and political license.

Experience:Construction operations, Project Controls, mining and related industry experience.
Experience in construction operations and systems related to earthworks projects and associated equipment.
Spanish and fluent English skills

Writing: reports and e-mails
Extensive knowledge of earthmoving equipment safety, systems, controls, equipment coordination, equipment and fleet scheduling/resourcing,
Works well with contractors and can remain focused and calm in stressful situations.
