You will be part of the team involved in all phases of Calypso implementation with the following responsibilities:
Work with clients directly to gather and document business requirements, to define the scope, and to provide estimates, while providing industry and functional advice
Support the project delivery by designing, configuring and testing the Calypso Solution to meet the business requirements
Liaise with Calypso Product Management and R&D teams to articulate detailed client requirements and to review deliverables
Support business process requirements definition and validate and agree on the delivered solution together with the client
Identify risks, gaps and dependencies during the process, and collaborate with other internal departments for enhancement developments
Consistently align internal and client expectations on project timeline and address issues as they arise
Provide training to the clients on best practices and usage
Required Skills and Qualifications
2+ years of experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, defining the scope, configuring and testing a FinTech software system
Experience working in business analysis and system design and configuration within the capital markets and financial industry
Strong knowledge and understanding of finance
Experience in the implementation and support of a Front Office components of a system within a Bank, Asset Manager, or other player of the Capital Markets and Financial industry
Strong knowledge and functional experience in any of the following asset classes: Foreign Exchange (FX) and Money Market (MM), Fixed Income (FI), Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), FX Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Equities and Equity Derivatives, Commodities and Commodity Derivatives
Knowledge of industry-standard Front Office processes such as: Market Data Management (bootstrapping algorithms) and curves construction, trade capture and pricing (model validation, stress testing and scenario analysis), analytics (P&L, sensitivities, performance and risk attribution) and risk (Monte Carlo, VaR, CVA)
Experience writing functional and business specifications with the ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities
Fluency in both English and Spanish
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 75%), per project basis
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and presentational skills and good interpersonal skills
Capable of taking initiatives and working independently and within timeline
A client-driven can-do attitude that can adapt and be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and be calm under pressure
A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related field, or relevant and proven work experience in Capital Markets and/or FinTech industries
Certifications such as CFA (Level 1 or above), FRM or similar would be a plus
Knowledge and experience with Calypso system would be a plus
