The Cash Application (CA) Specialist will be responsible for interfacing directly with our customers throughout the world, both on the phone and via email. The CA Specialist will book bank statements on a daily basis; review and process credit/debit memos, and reconcile customer receivable balances.-
Downloading payment details and self-billing invoices from customers’ websites;
Preparing and booking bank statements on a daily basis according to company's deadlines;
Register and assign customer deduction for verification;
Offset of Credit and Debit Memos with Charge Backs;
Work pro-actively with other departments to identify and resolve issues;
Investigate and resolve customer queries, payment discrepancies;
Communication with customers in respect of missing documents and information via phone, email, mail;
Respond to customer inquiries;
Reporting of unapplied/on account receipts on a weekly basis;
Support other reporting activities, as required;
Perform reconciliation and month end activities as per schedule
Support Tax and SOX audits as required;
Support other accounting projects, as necessary.
Associates Degree and/or 14 years of schooling. And 1-3 years of related experience;
Background in Finance, Accounting, Economy or relevant experience in the field;
Very good verbal and written English language skills;
Knowledge in second foreign language is an advantage;
Experience with an ERP system would be considered as an advantage;
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers and employees in a professional manner;
Proficient with MS Office applications;
Good organizational and problem-solving skills;
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
Team player with result orientated outlook;
Ability to thrive in a dynamic growth-oriented environment;
Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts;
Develops resolutions to problems of limited scope.Follows standard practices and procedures;
Work is closely managed.Follows specific, outlined, and detailed procedures;
