As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible of providing technical support and oversight to ensure that the products meet quality. Supervise, develops and implements the "Best in Class" methods of quality to include reliability testing, analysis and problem solving.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will make sure objectives, metrics and goals get accomplished to reach area targets. The hours for this role will be predominantly first shift work. Flexibility to fit production requirements will be necessary.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Participate in product quality planning and control process based on customer’s specifications and requirements to address customer issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Engage and support resources to assist in root cause identification and inform quality management team regarding customer feedback and expectations on product’s quality.
• Prepare and Develop product quality processes based on ISO standards and ensure product and process changes are documented in appropriate systems.
• Perform cost/benefit analysis, layered audits and address non-conformances
• Coordinate the PPAP/PTR process as appropriate and ensure compliance to PFMEA's.
• To report to the Team Leader any safety or production related problems, also ensure plant hygiene and housekeeping is always maintained.
• Adhere to proper Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and company production guidelines and maintain product quality documentation based on ISO specifications.
• All other reasonable tasks as may be requested by the assign Leader and/or the Quality Manager.

Experiencia y requisitos:
Successful Applicant
If you are a team player, interested in quality and continuous Improvement and have excellent communication skills then we are looking for you!
• 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to create a culture of continuous improvement.
• Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing experience required.
• A desire to continually learn and grow supported by direct action.

Education Requirement
• Engineer’s Degree or related
• ASQ certification preferred
