Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team.
The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.
**Responsibilities**:

**Qualifications**:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience

**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Product Control, as part of the Controllers Division, acts as a strategic partner across business lines.
Product Control is responsible for calculating, analyzing and explaining the financial performance of each desk within Citi.
To this end a Product Controller must understand the business strategies, products, accounting, valuation, hedging, funding, risk management and regulatory implications.

**Responsibilities Include**
- Consolidate impairment data and reconcile to Pearl general ledger to ensure completeness for AFS and HTM securities
- Prepare various revenue reports including daily Institutional Client Group P&L report
- Firm account exception control reporting (bi-monthly and VA weekly)
- Microstrategy Entitlement Maintenance Requests / Enhancements
- Analyze business hierarchy changes to ensure data integrity for Strategic Solar system
- Maintain complete list of project IDs used for S2 adjustments using Excel and Access macros
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial products
- Effective written, verbal and telephone based communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills.

- Minimum 2+ years business experience with good understanding of core financial and/or accounting principles, preferably in the financial services industry
- Very strong Microsoft computer skills required (Excel/pivots and graphics experience required, PowerPoint); Additional proficiency in Access, Visio/BlueWorks, Power BI, and SharePoint a plus
- Strong analytical thinker, detail orientated, and strong organizational skills essential
- Motivated self-starter to work in a professionally challenging and demanding environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written required
- Ability to work as a member of the team as well as independently
- Product knowledge and Financial Control previous experience a plus; regulatory exposure a plus
- Experience in process improvement, process mapping, quality standards, and/or building best practice process/tools preferred; pro-active process improvement and efficiency mindset essential
