The Business Support Manager has responsibility to provide professional administration and business support services to the CRE Mx team, carrying out tasks supporting CRE duties with a high standard of accuracy whilst delivering to tight timescales. Role holder has to develop and maintain a strong and professional working relationship with CRE Team, Third Parties (Vendors) and stakeholders, establishing a good relationship with them for the progress of CRE operation.

Description

The GCB5 role of Bussiness Support- Standards is to provide support to the Country Head of Operational Management across all of their areas of responsibility. Operational Management (OM) delivers and contributes to policies, processes, procedures, and tools for their implementation and management in CRE, working with Global Functions such as HR or Strategy & Planning where required. The OM Team will drive continuous improvement across the CRE structure in areas such as Governance and Risk Control Operations, Change Execution and People.

Your responsibilities will include:
Provide strategic management and administrative support to the Country Head of Operational Management, including with planning and execution against strategy and goals, including research and scenario planning, presentation material preparation

Deliver Change Execution – manage business or team change, either internally or externally driven, effectively and efficiently, with appropriate stakeholder communication, to ensure the Country CRE delivers its required services

Governance & Documentation – ensure appropriate governance is developed and implemented along with robust documentation and supporting management controls, including risk management governance through the Risk Management Meetings and Procurement Boards as required. Implement CRE Country Governance Framework on Country forums and meetings

Develop and maintain a strong and professional working relationship with executive and senior management of HSBC Operating Services and Technologies (HOST), CRE, Audit, Procurement, Operational Risk at regional levels

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience and qualifications:
Proven experience of leading the delivery of an excellent customer service and proactively look for innovative ways to improve the service delivered to customers

A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways

Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively

A track record of making strategic business decisions, considering relevant risks, long term implications, commercial realities and stakeholders needs

Dealt effectively with highly complex commercial information and business challenges to create strategic business plans which effectively deliver results

In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have a track record of:
Strong awareness and understanding of internal controls and operational risk environment. Driving effective operational controls

High level of personal drive and motivation to ensure delivery of a broad range of outputs simultaneously across HSBC

A to quickly assimilate global strategies and collaborate with the business to accomplish these strategies

The base location of this role will be Mexico City, Torre HSBC
