Business Development & Licensing Manager

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.
This candidate will be focused and have strong communication and negotiation skills.
They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.Business Development:?Responsible for in-licensing projects in Exeltis core fields (WHC and CNS) for MexicoIn-Licensing for specialty assets: Oncology, Hematology, Urology y Biosimilars, orphan drugs, etc?Understanding of Exeltis local commercial needs and products fit?Screening, identification, and analysis of differentiated new assets (prescriptions drugs, medical devices, or food supplements) with scientific support that allow to offer new alternatives to physicians/patients?.
Main Scope: INNOVATIONBenchmarks analysis.
Competition landscape review and key differentiation.?Establishment of business case & sales forecasts on well defined models: Key benefits of product and Positioning, Market Segmentation, Pricing Strategy and Projection of Sales for Launch product according to specific analogs.BD&L financial evaluation (FTEs, cash flow, NPV, IRR, payback).
Key terms elaboration (term sheet, upfront & milestones)?Review and negotiation of agreements: product acquisition, development, licensing, distribution and co-marketing deals.?Assessment and validation of projects with local top management and BD Global.?M&A opportunities identification?Portfolio Management:?Exeltis portfolio/pipeline analysis? for MexicoIIdentification of new value-added assets.
Fit and strategic products.?CCoordination with global and local teams: Medical, Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, Supply, IP and Legal?MMonitoring of contracts (Royalties, Penalties, Free Goods, Expiry Date of contract etc.
