Backend Engineer

We are currently looking to hire a Backend Software Engineer. Are you thrilled about ecommerce and software? You dream of joining a passionate crew? We're looking for passion, flexibility, leadership, top technical skills, with 2 to 5 years of experience developing internet products mainly in backend apps and systems.


Technical skills we are looking for :

- Strong backend engineering skills, including security, scalability and data engineering.
- Experience architecting for the cloud. We work on AWS, but any PaaS experience is sufficient.
- Advanced knowledge of Python, Javascript (ES6) or Typescript with hands on experience on real projects.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, pub/sub patterns, asynchronous communication, queueing systems, etc.
- Solid technical understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs- High level of experience working with data storage technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Passionate about writing clean, structured and maintainable code, always refactoring to improve the quality of the code base.
- Experience in code review, pair programming and mentoring junior developers.
- Ability to containerize applications and automate deploy processes.

Bonus Skills:

- Experience with container orchestration tools (K8s).
- Automated testing at different levels.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools.
- You are a contributor of an open source project.
- Experience integrating 3rd party systems such as CRMs / ERPs.
