100% remote job Technical Product Owner | Salvo Software | Mexico As a Technical Product Owner, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of our technical products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define product strategy, prioritize features, and ensure the successful delivery of products that meet customer requirements. Your strong technical background, product management skills, and business acumen will be essential in driving product innovation, managing stakeholders, and achieving business goals. Responsibilities: Guide the development of project scopes by gathering requirements from clients, collaborating with software architects, team technical leads, and UI/UX designers to transform the client's vision into well-defined technical product specifications and features. Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure relevant teams clearly understand them. Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy. Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog. Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews. Provide guidance and clarify requirements during development. Work closely with development teams, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on product requirements and deliverables. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and technically sound solutions. Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for the delivery of new functionalities. Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals. Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions. Qualifications: Must have previous experience as a Software Engineer and be able to intimately understand all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications or degrees in product management. In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management. Excellent product management skills, including requirements gathering, backlog management, and agile methods. Understanding of business value related to features and functions. Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders. Experience working with development languages such as C, C, Javascript. Extraordinary communication skills, including large group presentations. Strong ability to manage roadblocks and conflicts leading to a resolution to keep the project on track.
