In this role you willbe responsible for negotiationg with suppliers for Operational Equipment for the resorts, adhering to the Corporate Standards. Its responsibilities include the preparation, analysis, presentation and execution of different comparison charts to the corporate purchasing management
A successful Sr. Buyer - Operational Equipmentwill:
Identifiy opportunity areas in order to negotiate based on annual Spend of the hotels in the different regionsPrepares bidding schedule, according to the assigned categoriesExecutes bidding process for every assigned category: establishes commercial and technical conditions, invites suppliers to participate, receives proposals, makes comparison charts and assigns the supplierOverviews contract signature with selected suppliers.Gives maintenance to the Central Catalogue.Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a manager.A successful Sr. Buyer - Operational Equipmentwill have: Bachelor Degree in Administration areas or Engineering2 Years' experience in Corporate position or 4 Years as Purchasing Manager at hotel level.Advanced use of Excel and Power PointEnglish: at least 70% o able to have business conversations.Basic knowledge of International Trade.Advanced Negotiation SkillsTravel 15%About Apple Leisure Group: Apple Leisure Group (ALG) is the leading North American travel, hospitality and leisure management group with the only vertically-integrated business model, serving travelers and destinations worldwide.
