As our new Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the_ coordination of resources to ensure compliance with production schedules and work orders. Supervise operational personnel and ensure the correct filling of production records. Keep up-to-date production records for volume, scrap, on-time deliveries, downtime, absenteeism, overtime, etc._**Responsibilities**:Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.- Monitor and supervise production processes focused on the scope of the SQDC (SAFETY, QUALITY, DELIVERIES, COSTS).- Support for the fulfillment of safety objectives, compliance with production plans, quality and productivity through the correct management of the budget of tools and materials.- Promote a pleasant work environment based on communication and constant recognition for better staff performance.- Provide support to new projects and redesigns, always focused on the continuous improvement of processes.- Collaborate with the support areas: Human Resources, Quality, Engineering, Medical Services, among others to ensure the necessary support in the production processes.- Supervise operational staff, ensuring availability, capacity and commitment; as well as the monitoring and control of absenteeism, rotation and indiscipline; with the support and training of the direct supervisor.- Communicate the multi-skill needs of your work team (operators).- Ensure compliance with the requirements of our quality system according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF standards.- Promote and monitor continuous improvement actions in your area.- Participation in Lean Manufacturing events defined by the value stream map.- Promote the identification of areas of opportunity in security issues as well as participation in the investigation of incidents.- Assume responsibility and accountability for the effectiveness of the quality management system.- Ensure that the activities carried out comply with the quality management system and quality policies, as well as that they are aligned with the organization's strategy.- Ensure that the necessary resources for the quality management system are available.- Promote the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking.- Support and participate in continuous improvement activities such as: Kaizens, ideas program, cost reduction projects and demonstration of improvement in processes and practices to achieve the company's objectives.- Train and evaluate your people by documenting them and delivering evidence to HR.- Ensure that activities comply with the QMS (ISO-9001 E IATF16949), with quality policies, and that they are also aligned with the organization's strategic direction and business context.- Ensure that quality management system requirements and resources (ISO-9001 and IATF16949) are fully integrated and available within all business processes.**Background & Skills**:- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial or Related)- 3 years experience in similar role (Manufacturing Plant)- Intermediate English- Time Management- Conflict Resolution- Effective Communication- Negotiation Skills- Structured Problem Solving- Decision-making- Teamwork- Leadership- Lean Tools/Continuous Improvement- Statistical methods and tools**Danfoss - Engineering Tomorrow**:At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
