Yupana is looking for a Human Resources SupervisorGeneralist. This position will be fully handson,leading and managing all daytoday HR operations. The HR SupervisorGeneralist is responsible for theoverall planning, organization, development, and implementation of all peoplerelated activities in accordance with the Yupana company policy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Recruiting management Analyze the needs with the related department supervisor, prepare thejob description, review and decide the right sourcing channels, post new positions and managethe interview process. Oversee and assist with talent acquisition needsManage the employee onboarding and exit processesMaintain and ensure all documentation is timely prepared as required in employee filesAdvice and assist employees and managersexecutives with HR policies and proceduresDevelop company and human resources policies, maintain and update policy manuals as well asemployee handbooks as neededManage employee relations issues employee concerns, questions, leave of absences,resignations, etc. and help resolve employee concerns and complaintsOversee training, career advancement or the employees and develop strategies for talentdevelopmentManage and administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems, safetyand recreation programsProvide guidance and advice to managers on grievance, attendance, disciplinary, andperformance issuesStrive to continuously improve processes and proceduresMaintain compliance with all employment laws and regulationsCoordinate required compliance trainingProvide reliable and accurate reporting on various KPIsAssist in other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Essential Requirements
BS degree in Industrial Engineering, in a related field or equivalent experience requiredMinimum 5 years of professional HR experience, with a focus on organizational development,HR administration, change management, benefits, employment law, and employee relationsAt least 2 years of high tech, startup experience desiredSpecialized HR training preferredAbility to cultivate strong relationships with diverse and distributed employee population, andto operate in a matrix environmentKnowledge of HRIS and Payroll systems is requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have demonstrated knowledge of employment lawMust have strong interpersonal skills, and be highly organized, action oriented and collaborativeExtremely detail orientedMust be able to travelInternational experience is a plusTech savvy, MS office skillsBilingual in both English and SpanishMust be able to work based on the USCanada time zoneThis is not a remote position and will require the person to be in the office.
The position will work with different managers from different Yupana offices and will support those managers in their projects forall the human resources needs.
