Role and Responsibilities
• Evaluate and perform manual testing against new or modified websites and procedures to verify that websites function according to requirements and conform to established guidelines.
• Write, revise, and verify test plans and test procedures for website defect identification, resolution, and product enhancement evaluations in order to attain quality, economical, and efficient websites.
• Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, usability, or testing implications.
• Conduct compatibility tests against different browsers for new and existing functionality.
• Identify, report, and track product defects as well as addressing need for additional product functionality in a clear and concise form.
• Provide troubleshooting/problem resolution for client issues when required.
• Take initiative, prioritize, and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Create/Review End User and Technical Documentation generated for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.
• Work collaboratively with developers in an agile release environment.
• Report directly to Online Marketing Manager daily for feedback and update on all accounts.
• Develops strong professional relationship with clients on an on-going basis.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, clients and management.
• Develops a solid understanding of the client's business/industry and how key strategic issues impact client objectives
• Effectively presents, sells and defends all agency work/proposals to clients.
• Regularly checks for and responds promptly to all client communications, including calls, emails and faxes.
• Completes all the web related tasks assigned by the Marketing department
• Manages outsourced vendors responsible for software development and web related projects
• Quality control all deliverables to ensure consistency and agency standards met.
• Coordinates project timing and budgets. Ensuring deliverables to clients are completed on time and on budget.
• Ensure all reporting is accurate and timely. Manages marketing program budgets and produces monthly status reports to review internally, and with the client.
• Provides insights and recommendations to challenges/obstacles
• Responsible for all progress of clients’ projects through production and other relevant personnel such as partners and third party vendors.
• Ability to manage and train an assistant.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Expert knowledge of Wordpress
• Intermediate knowledge of Joomla, Drupal, .net, Magento and other CMS
• Desire to build and evolve development skills.
• Capable of independent work within an agile development team.
• Strong understanding of technology with a natural inquisitiveness.
• Extensive troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work together as a team with geographically dispersed teammates.
• Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Reliable and organized with a strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with Testing Management and Defect Tracking Tools
• Excellent command of English. You will be reporting to a manager in Canada, so this is imperative.
