Purpose of Your Work: As a Senior Financial Analyst, working within Redwood Logistics(our parent company),you will be responsible for creating value for the businessby providing high-level analysis of revenue, credit, expense and overhead, working with business unit management to predict financial results and drive process improvement in the financial planning department. Additionally, this role supports the periodic forecasting and annual budgeting process for their respective businesses. The ideal candidate must be able to work autonomously and have high analytical skills and resourcefulness. The ability to manage initiatives from project inception to production is a requirement. Success also requires effective partnering across multiple capabilities resulting in a shared point of view.
How You Make a Difference Everyday: Work with Business leaders to understand their financial needs and work to meet these needsLead monthly financial review meetings with business unit leadership identifying constraints and alternatives to addressDevelop demand forecasts across multiple levels of aggregation and time horizonsAnalyze business units to aid in development of best practices and increased efficienciesEnsure key metric (KPI) reporting is in place that facilitates root cause analysis driving improvements in forecastingContinually look for ways to innovate inside the planning capability.
