In addition, this role will be responsible for all environmental, health, and safety related matters to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and employee engagement.This position reports to the Plant Manager in Reynosa.In this role, the Production Manager will:- Responsible for the direct day to day operations with a high level of efficiency, integrity, and enthusiasm, striving to achieve excellence in all endeavors- Define proper standards and processes to ensure customer satisfaction through on-time-delivery of high-quality products- Conduct risk assessments of safety, processes and projects related to manufacturing team- Drive the improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate data analysis- Active champion of improving operational performance and customer satisfaction levels- Creates & developes the strategic Value Stream plant through System CIP short cycles, establishing priorities based on business requirements and aligned with the business unit, business team & plant's "True North", using the current VS map as starting point, aligning & focusing resources to reach stability, set the next goal or move to the next big area of improvement to achieve the desired state of the VS Design- Promotes the use of well-known systematic tools like A3 & PDCA in solving complex manufacturing problems.- Maintains management control systems, budget, and other information necessary to monitor performance- Empowered to report and/or stop the production line, when identifying safety or environmental risk, quality problems or deviations in process standards- To work according of the I.M.S.
