Production Manager

Descripción y detalle de las actividadesJOB PURPOSE: Responsible for planning and directing all aspects of production activities in Mexicali to manufacture and develop products of high quality and reliability at optimum cost and in accordance with customer requirements. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Responsible for overseeing and managing optimization of manufacturing efficiencies. - Planning and coordination of production activites to obtain optimum utilization of human resources, direct materials, and equipment to meet department targets (OTD/CM ect.) - Advises Management of new developments that may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations and/or inter-departmental relations. - Schedules all labor within their assigned department which includes overtime, vacations, leave of absences, and training to ensure the timely completion. - Weekly approvals of time records for department. - Responsible for timely performance feedback and annual reviews. - Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve operations and develops recommendations accordingly. - CI understanding will be developed to a level whereby they will be involved in larger lean projects and potentially lead smaller area specific projects. - Other duties may be assigned.Experiência y requisitosREQUIREMENTS: - Associates or Bachelors degree in related field. - 4-6 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferrably servicing the - Medical Device Industry with a minimum of 2 years responsibility in a lead role. - Working knowledge in progressive management technologies such as Lean Manufacturing, JIT, MRP, and ERP. - English 90% (spoken and written) - Minimum 8 years manager experience. - Have a vigent VISA. - Availability to travel - Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
