LEAD WEB/PHP DEVELOPER

We are a growing staffing agency based out of New Haven, Connecticut, specialized in the placing of remote software development professionals to work directly with our clients located exclusively within the United States.

We are currently looking for a talented Lead Developer for one of our clients, a digital and social media marketing agency based out of Boston.

The Project
- You will be leading the development of a variety of web and mobile development projects
- Job for this particular client is part-time. However, we might have many more projects for the right person

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers from architectural planning through delivery and maintenance
- Work with product development team in managing the agile process, meeting requirements and setting expectations
- Hands on coding, utilizing a wide range of web technologies surrounding PHP
- Define process and best practices

Requirements
- Extensive experience with PHP (5+ years of experience)
- Strong knowledge/experience of different PHP frameworks and content management systems
- Experience with highly scabale, consumer facing web applications
- Experience with front-end technologies
- Experience building eCommerce applications
- Previous experience as a lead developer and/or as a project manager
- Deadline oriented
- Responsive and client oriented
- Can work independently or without supervision
- Strong English communication skills both written and spoken
- Must have a high-speed and reliable internet connection as well as availability to communicate with our team and our clients during US business hours (from 9am to 6pm EST)

Additional Requirements (Good To Have)
- Bs. Degree in Computer Science or related
- Mobile development background
